Mango stores the minimum it needs to work and never sells or shares your data for advertising.

What we store
Your e-mail, so you can sign in. If you link WhatsApp, your phone number. And what you log: expenses, income, savings, categories, budgets and fixed costs.
If you sign in with Google
Google gives us your name and your e-mail, and nothing else: not your contacts, your calendar or your photo. You can change the name when you create your account. Mango never posts anything to your Google account.
If you connect Claude or ChatGPT
If you connect your assistant to Mango, you approve it on a Mango screen, and from then on it can see and change your movements, categories, fixed charges and cards, as you would; never delete your account or change your profile. What the assistant reads goes through that assistant's company (Anthropic or OpenAI) under its own terms. You can disconnect it any time from Account, in Mango, and it loses access at that moment.
Your messages
When you text the bot, the message is sent to a language model (Google's Gemini, on a paid account whose content Google does not use for training) to extract the amount, the description and the category. Mango stores the resulting entry. The message text is not kept, except on accounts with conversation history enabled, where it is kept for 30 days so the bot remembers recent context.
No access to your bank
Mango does not connect to your bank or ask for credentials. It only knows what you log.
Where the data lives
The database runs on Supabase and the website on Vercel. Sign-in codes are sent through Resend and WhatsApp messages go through Meta's official API. None of them receive your data for anything other than providing that service. If you connect Claude or ChatGPT, what the assistant reads also goes through Anthropic or OpenAI, under their terms.
Cookies
Only the necessary ones: your session, the one that remembers your language and, if you sign in with Google, one that lasts ten minutes to carry your language, your timezone and the page you return to after signing in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data or have your account deleted with everything in it. Write to hola@usemango.dev and it is done within a few days.
